I found some stewed apple and rhubarb lurking in the freezer, I had half a large punnet of strawberries in the fridge. I had 50g of organic dark chocolate in the pantry. Inspiration struck.

Rhubarb and Strawberry Chocolate Crumble
300g stewed rhubarb and apple (or just rhubarb)
300g sliced strawberries
50g grated fair trade dark chocolate
1/4 cup flour
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons muscovado

  1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees
  2. Combine fruit in an oven proof dish
  3. Mix chocolate through
  4. Rub flour, butter and muscovado together until it resembles breadcrumbs. Scatter on top of fruit.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden
