These are a big hit in our house for old and young alike. There are so many recipes similar to this floating around these days. For good reason. I use 51% cocoa choc chips as a good compromise between the palates of the family and these are close to healthy treat.

Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Chickpea Cookies.
1 can chickpeas, drained, throughly rinsed and dried (111 calories)
1/3 cup pure peanut butter (just peanuts and salt or make your own) (482 calories)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup milk (26 calories)
2/3 cup (110g) choc chips (500 calories)
Preheat oven to 200 degrees
Place all ingredients except choc chips into thermomix.
Blend for 10 seconds on speed 6.
Scrape down sides.
Blend for 10 seconds on speed 6 or until smooth.
Stir choc chips through.
Spoon tablespoons onto a prepared tray and press down slightly.
Bake for 10 minutes or until just golden.
