From time to time the day on which I do my supermarket shopping seems to change. I’m not really sure how or why it happens. It just does. Accept it. Currently it’s Monday. Which kind of sucks because I’m having trouble coming to grips with Mondays. It’s a mad flurry of drop Son and Heir [...]

Day Four in Sydney and a continuation of Holiday Meal Planning.
We actually had a meal today that I didn’t cook so don’t expect a recipe for lunch! It was delicious. Probably a tad to much chilli though. I like it hot but it killed the actual flavour of the laksa. We ate in the [...]

This was actually a quick throw together of some chicken breasts with leftover Morrocan Style Vegetables and Couscous. Very quick and easy and it tasted completely different to it’s previous incarnation. Truth be told, it could have done with a splash of white wine but I didn’t have any.

This is a quick and easy dish I threw together tonight when I suddenly realised I was running very late. Not a true 10 minute meal as it takes a little longer to cook but certainly less than 10 minutes work in the thermomix.

Moroccan Style Vegetable and Couscous
2 tablespoons olive oil [...]

Today was the first of the days that are too hot to cook and almost too hot to eat. Beautiful weather but not really suited to the tagine I had planned to cook. Luckily though, I had some gorgeous prawns in the freezer so a salad came to mind. Almost a 10 minute meal. In [...]
