Delicious little morsels, perfect for finger food or piling into lunch boxes. Very bento friendly. Just in case you were wondering, the recent lack of photos is a gesture of disgust at the hideous lighting in my hideous house. Photography will resume when the house has been demolished. Which will happen soon should the universe [...]

Now that both First Born and Lil Miss are at school, I am working close to full time. Which means that I am making packed lunches for the whole family five days a week, no more nicking home at lunch time for a few crackers, cheese and tomato for me! The main problem with this [...]

Lately, Son and Heir greatly objects to staying home all day. He has this driving need for some form of outing every day. It’s a pain in the backside when I don’t want to go anywhere. Like today. All I wanted to do was clean the house and tend to some outdoor tasks that I [...]

Sandwich Heaven

OK, this sandwich is very, very naughty but incredibly delicious. Crispy fried free range bacon and creamy blue cheese. My rear end is expanding just making one for the Bread Winner’s lunch. Lucky I don’t have enough bacon left to actually eat one.
