Admittedly it wasn’t such a hit with the Ankle Biters this time but my friend Cath and I were mightily impressed. I roasted the pumpkin the day before when I was cooking dinner which made them really quick and easy to whip up too. Budget too, perfect!

Not only Lil Miss’ favourite saying but how I ate my lunch today. Son and Heir was at kinder, Lil Miss got sent to creche and I had the morning off work due to the whole sharks and laser beams thing. So I got to eat in peace.

OK, this sandwich is very, very naughty but incredibly delicious.
Crispy fried free range bacon and creamy blue cheese.
