And again with the similarities Docwitch! Have you tried Neil Gaiman? If not, I highly recommend him, he's my latest find.

Maria I am so happy to hear you're raising Alexander correctly. An early affiliation with Fry and Laurie is essential for a young man's development :D Definitely read the Mistry. It's truly incredible.

Oooh! Great stuff here. Must read Gone with the Wind. Must read A Thousand Splendid Sons - I bought DH The Kite Runner for Xmas cos I really want to read it myself. (Is that bad?) Anything by Wodehouse sounds delicious. Borrowed the Jeeves and Wooster DVDs from the library last year, Alexander LOVED them! Fry and Laurie version of course. And must read the Rohinton Mistry book, sounds intriguing.

Oh so many of my faves here...
I'm completely with you on the Mistry: incredible book - moving, and devastatingly brilliant. I push that one on so many people. Heh.
Austen: always
Cloud Atlas: wasn't it amazing?

And Wodehouse? Of course!

Docwitchs last blog post..<a href="http://darksideofthebroom.blogspot.com/2009/02/ode-to-apron.html" rel="nofollow">An Ode to the Apron</a>
