Mmm, that looked delicious. I’ve only started to really appreciate and develop a love for gardening. I can’t believe what I’ve missed.

Thanks Nate, I’m pretty proud of my garden bed. The mulch is super thick as it is SO dry here.
I’m totally stuck on the bread so I’ve frozen it in bread pudding size portions. Well labelled so the fairy bread and jam gets used for desserts and the cream cheese and vegemite gets used for savoury. I might use some of the savoury in stuffing too.

Fig if it makes you feel any better, it’s been stinking hot. Around the 98 – 100 mark in your measurements this week. It is hard to not waste sometimes. It’s so much easier to throw things in the compost or give them to the dog. Nowhere near as satisfying though. One of my tricks when I’m feeling lazy is to throw the leftovers (well labelled) into the freezer until I have the energy to deal with them.

I am soooo envious of your sunny gardening weather. And of your determination to be frugal! I hate to waste, but sometimes it's just too much work to use everything up. Lazy! Figs last blog post..Score one for revelation
