We stayed at a friend's house with a massive fig tree simply covered with unripe fruit. Torture. Lucky I got my fix last night. Maria figs and pancetta are such good friends aren't they? Bacon was a nice substitue though. Love that juxtaposition of sweet and salty. Em I wish I had your neighbour! Let me know what you think of the salad. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
