Do it Ron. You won't regret it. I was raised on the over boiled sprout and it bears no resemblance to one properly cooked.

Brussel sprouts are something I have intentionally avoided for many, many years. I suspect it is in part at least because my mother boiled the heck out of them until there was nothing left but a solid green ball.

After reading this, I am beginning to wonder if I should give them another try.

Cheers, Ron

Oh dear, sorry about the tortellini Docwitch. You could do the quiche though with soy milk and cheese I would imagine.

Blimey! This could turn me completely (I've had a life-long aversion to poor ol' Mr Sprout). This looks damned fine.
Same with that tortellini you posted about earlier. I'm living dairy free for a week, and looking at that brought on my first moment of sheer misery and feelings of deprivation.

Docwitchs last blog post..<a href="http://darksideofthebroom.blogspot.com/2008/07/story-so-far.html" rel="nofollow">The Story So Far...</a>

Thanks Kalyn. I had a moment and then wordpress had a moment but harmony (and the link) have been restored. I highly recommend this quiche, it will change the way you think of sprouts forever.

I'm not really a brussels sprouts fan, although they growing on me more and more. It sounds like a good combination. I want to see the conventional recipe thought, and something seems to be wrong with the link.
