Trusting in the greater good
Jul 27th, 2008 by Dani
Because I like to be perverse, or because I think my readership is so small for it not be an issue, I have changed my settings to unmoderate comments. Strangely I was inspired to do so by the brouhaha that broke out over at Syrup and Tang. I think it was the reference to my comment that provoked my perversity. Here I was in la-la land, briefly agreeing with the essence of the post and it seems I was interpreted as having joined ‘Duncan’s Army’. Heehee.
Anyhoo, here I am, at home with Lil Miss who woke me by vomiting on my shoulder, rather than at work deciding to liven up my life by unmoderating demoderating removing comment moderation. Really, I doubt that it will make any practical difference at all given the size of my little blog but a girl has to amuse herself somehow, right?

I became unmoderated?, demoderated?, certainly not immoderate after the first week. I don’t think that I am likley to be inundated with libelous content. Not really the sort of content on my blog to initiate debate -except if the CWA ladies get to hear about it!!
How could I forget immoderate? Silly me. Now I’m tempted to go rustle up the CWA lasses and send them your way!
Welcome to the army, Dani. I never knew I had one, but hey, if I do then I can see many ways of deploying it for the betterment of humankind:) Problem is, I think they’re all doing their own bit for it anyway, so no need for me to get involved. Nice meeting you at the bloggers’ get-together!
Good to meet you too Duncan. I’m glad I could make it even if distracted by the AB’s! It’s a funny old world out there in the blogosphere. Such a diverse audience it’s hard to know when an armed force is going to spring up spontaneously
I’m definitely immoderate, and therefore it would be absurd for my blog to be moderated. Tweaking is fun isn’t it? Hope your girl is feeling better. Mine had that last week. Not nice.
