Perfect Degrees
Sep 27th, 2008 by Dani
Today in Melbourne it was 28 degrees. That’s my perfect. Warm enough for scanty clothing, cool anough to run. It’s the best of all possible worlds. Pure bliss. Between running and gardening and cooking, I lived life to the full today. I’m too weary too talk about it so here’s a pictorial representation of all but the running.
Vietnamese style salad (dinner with marinated free range pork spareribs)
Thyme struck from a cutting
Sage and rosemary in flower
Sugar snap pea in flower
Potato plants
Oregano
Native spear head grass in flower
Nasturtium, lettuce and cobweb in a hanging basket
Gingerbread loaf for breakfast tomorrow
Side shoots of broccoli from a plant harvested a month or so ago (used in lunch time salad Nicoise)
Broad bean in flower
Spring onion ready to flower
Flowering sage
Red onion
Sage bud
Salad Nicoise for lunch
Rogue jasmine pepping through the fence

gorgeous images Dani! Your plants all look sooo healthy. And wasn’t it sublime weather today? Bliss.

Thanks Docwitch. The weather certainly was perfect. Even that crazy wind kept at bay.
Very true Nate. I suspect we’re always jealous of where you are. Aren’t you in a frost free place?
It sure is vigorous Kel. I love that those two big patches came from one little cutting.
