More Spring Gardening
Sep 9th, 2008 by Dani
Mulch, mulch and more mulch. I’m determined to get the garden beds well insulated before the summer sun comes and attempts to suck every bit of life out of them. Eucalypt mulch under the natives, pine bark mulch under the nectarine and peach trees and more pea straw on the vegie beds. It all looks mighty fine and well loved if I say so myself.

While I was getting dirty, I decided on a bit more planting too. Nasturtiums, pak choi, bok choy and capsicums were the order of the day. Once again I forgot to plant the warragul greens seeds nand the coriander seeds. Not sure what is causing that mental block. I’m sure I’ll get past it at some point.
Id derly love to share some photos of all my work but sadly, I am without the camera for 6 more sleeps. Poor Son and Heir had a big missing Daddy meltdown in the playground at kinder today I’m told. Sweet boy has been a right little turd really suffering without him. Were making a chart today to cross off the sleeps each morning until the Bread Winner returns (and falls even more madly in love with his wife when he sees the state of our gorgeous garden).
