It’s not food but it smells good!

I thought I’d share a non-food recipe with you today. It’s my lice prevention mixture. I’m not sure where i originally got the idea, possibly Simple Savings. We have come through a couple of bouts of lice at kinder and creche totally unscathed. I just spray a little of this onto the kids hair each morning and so far, so good!
Super de-tangling, lice preventing hair spray
2 tablespoons SLS free organic baby conditioner (or any other conditioner of your choosing)
250ml warm water
20 drops tea tree essential oil
20 drops lavender essential oil
Place all ingredients in spray bottle and gently shake until it’s all combined.

Thats a very cool idea. I bet it smells fantastic! Omit the conditioner and use it as a perfume!
Thanks! We haven’t had to deal with lice yet in school, but I’m sure it is coming one of these days/years.
I just tried the recipe. It tastes like soap.
Jessica - if you want to use it as a perfume, put the oils in a carrier like almond oil and it will work beautifully, the smell won’t stick to your skin in water.
Don’t know where you are but lice are rife in Melbourne these days. Absolutely rife.
nottryingetc - love the handle
DGM - you skimped and used cheapo conditioner didn’t you?
