Kat this was only my second papier mache attempt. The first was a birthday pinata for my dog filled with liver treats (pre-Ankle Biters). Bert and/or Ernie would be decidedly difficult I would imagine.

Dani - that's bloody magnificent. I love women who are handy with the paper mache! no doubt my turn will come soon enough - though I'm not sure if I'm up to a Bert or Ernie paper mache costume (Sesame Street).

I dunno Docwitch, I've seen Cars more times thn I ever wanted to and my version seems to be missing that sporty sleekness. I guess the real deal wasn't modelled on a fruit box and a laundry basket. Having said that, given my lack of artistic skill I'm not unhappy with the result.

Wow Nate, does that mean you were spared 4 gazillion viewings of Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc? Although I must say I still love Monsters Inc. Cars is a great kids movie.

That's very inventive!

Cars is the only Pixar movie that our kids watch. All the others are too scary.

Nates last blog post..<a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/HouseOfAnnie/~3/419268257/stir-fried-cumin-chicken-ayam-goreng.html" rel="nofollow">Stir-fried Cumin Chicken (Ayam Goreng Berjintan)</a>

Whaddya mean dodgy? That's a veritable masterpiece! It actually looks like the thing you were aiming to achieve too. Blimey Dani, maybe you should consider pursuing a career in costume design after all. Or car design - I'll take your Lightning McQueen over a Beamer any day.

I'm still try to figure out how to do papier mache...
