Christmas garden joy
Dec 28th, 2008 by Dani
My family must love me. I did my Christmas planting today and it gave me great joy. Son and Heir gave me a sorely needed punnet of coriander seedlings, Lil Miss gave me a divine tub of native violets and my Dad and Stepmum gave me a blueberry. Happy days indeed.
Once they were all safely ensconced in their new homes, I picked another 7kg of peaches.

So, did the festive season of your choice bring you any garden or kitchen joy?

Those peaches look delectable! What are you going to do with them (apart from munching ‘em as are)? You got a blueberry! How wonderful! And do you have any tips for growing coriander? Mine goes to seed too quickly…
We did very well on the kitchen and garden fronts for Christmas.
The Small Person scored quite a swag of baking accessories for Christmas - including some silicone teddy bear shaped muffin trays. Very cute.
I got a lot of Christmas garden goodies too. Potting them all up and organising everything is my plan for today.
So post-Christmas we are very happy, and very busy, (which is an added bonus considering it’s the school hols).
Docwitchs last blog post..How Utterly Appropriate.
Much munching has been happening Docwitch. In fact Son and Heir is driving me a little potty with his constant peachy demands. I made some salsa today which I will blog about in due course. I have some more plans tucked away somewhere, just have to pull them out. Sounds like you did very well in the garden department for Christmas. Lovely. Small Person’s muffin trays sound divine. Lil Miss would adore those. Might keep my eye out in fact, its her birthday in a couple of weeks and she’s demanded a teddy bears picnic party. My coriander always goes to seed too quickly too.
