JJ how frustrating. And unfair. Thank goodness it is temporary at least. Expensive cardboard sound like torture.

*#$%ing diabetes. What I wouldn't give for a slice of home made bread right now. I'm sick of eating low GI grainy cardboard that costs a fortune.
Harumph.

I've had no trouble with crust in the silicon. I usually use proper bread tins but the few times I've used silicon it's been fine.
The ABs do the outer peeling, they're still a bit clumsy (mess) for the second peel though.

The loaf looks great - how does the crust go in the silicon tray? Still crunchy ?

You'll have to train the ABs to do the double peeling of the beans.
