An exciting citrus update. UPDATED
Dec 16th, 2008 by Dani
My espaliered lemon has new growth! Leaves and buds. The first it’s even attempted to sprout in 12 months. I think I’ve saved it. I have some pictures but wordpress still isn’t allowing me to post them. Hopefully I’ll get the problems ironed otut (or the Bread Winner will) and I’ll update this post.

In other garden news, I spent some birthday vouchers today on garden supplies. Included in my haul was a Kunzea pomifera and a Dahlia ‘mystic Mars’. The latter simply because I couldn’t resist the wonderfully contrasting clours. I’m very excited about the Kunzea pomifera. Edible, native and drought tolerant. Now that’s my kind of plant!

Ugh, I miss my lemon trees. Then, if I moved back to NZ, I’d miss my cherries and probably even the bears!
Yum cherries. I think I’ll keep my lemons over your bears though HDR. I’m having enough trouble managing the citrus LOL
