School Holiday Love

Here I am, back in blogdom. I decided to take the weekend off. I had lots of lovely social stuff happening and really needed to put some time into my book. Mission accomplished.
Today is the first official day of school holidays. Happy, happy, happy. The Ankle Biters and I took the opportunity to potter for the most part. Although we did visit the Ankle Biter Hair Dresser where Lil Miss had her very first big girl hair cut. She was very excited and sat as still as a two an half year old girl can.
The rest of the day, the Ankle Biters played football. Son and Heir has discovered AFL in a big way. He has played the family numbers game and has decided to go with 3 Uncles and a couple of grandparents in being a Bombers supporter, much to the Bread Winner’s disgust. Oh dear. AFL bores the pants off me. Not my game at all. I figured it would rear it’s ugly head at some stage. On the bright side, it left me free to potter in the kitchen for the better part of the day.
