Hi Trudy. I did beat the egg whites in the thermomix. I followed the instructions and I have found previously that the lemon juice is vital for getting stiff peaks in the thermomix. So I used 8 eggs and a good squeeze of lemon juice. I used the butterfly on speed 4 until I had stiff peaks and then still beating in speed 4, I added the caster sugar teaspoon by teaspoon. One thing I did notice is that I had to use actual caster sugar (unfortunately). I usually use products like rapadura, muscavado or xylitol but I've had no luck with any of them with meringue. The other thing is to be sure there is absolutely no grease at all anywhere in the thermomix. I gave mine a good wash with detergent and HOT water first. Once all the sugar was beaten in, I folded in the other ingredients with about 5 seconds on speed 3. Then I emptied the TM bowl onto a baking sheet and mounded my pav into the size and shape I wanted. I baked at 150 after preheating the oven to 180 for about an hour. The actual recipe I used is linked to in My Christmas Day Contribution post.
Hope that helps, if not, let me know what exact problems you've had and I'll see what I can work out for you.

Dear Dani, You mentioned that you made a pavlova. Was this made in the thermomix and if so did you follow the instruction book. I have tried this and haven't had much luck so would love to hear just what you did.

Many thanks
