Stand by for snags!

I carry a mental list in my head upon entering any op shop of assorted things to keep an eye out for. Of course it’s a long time between successes. Op shops are far too popular these days. Not like the 80’s when they were horribly uncool and super cheap. Today though, I got lucky. Mostly because I was out in Hurstbridge which is a lovely little town somewhere between suburb and country. I picked up an old meat mincer for a song.
I’ve been after one of these to make sausages with for close on two years now I’d say. The vice is too small to fit my benchtop but that is just a minor detail, I’ll work a way around that. Sausages are a real treat in our house as I will only buy biodynamic sausages made with actual meat and they don’t come cheap. In fact I could feed us eye fillet steak for pretty much the same price. Crazy stuff. So stay tuned to this station. Sausages recipes will be forthcoming. Such a thrill!

i’ll be interested to see how you go with this!
keep me posted
No chance of me forgetting to do that!
